The Obama Guide to Free Speech

O LORD, OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, high and mighty King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, who dost from Thy throne behold all the dwellers on earth, and reignest with power supreme and uncontrolled over all the kingdoms, empires and governments; look down in mercy we beseech Thee, on these American States, who have fled to Thee from the rod of the oppressor, and thrown themselves on Thy gracious protection, desiring henceforth to be dependent only on Thee; to Thee they have appealed for the righteousness of their cause; to Thee do they now look up for that countenance and support which Thou alone canst give; take them, therefore, Heavenly Father, under Thy nurturing care; give them wisdom in council and valor in the field; defeat the malicious design of our cruel adversaries; convince them of the unrighteousness of their cause; and if they persist in their sanguinary purpose, O let the voice of Thy own unerring justice, sounding in their hearts, constrain them to drop the weapons of war from their unnerved hands in the day of battle! Be Thou present, O God of wisdom, and direct the counsels of this honorable assembly; enable them to settle things on the best and surest foundation, that the scene of blood may be speedily closed, that order, harmony and peace may be effectually restored, and truth and justice, religion and piety prevail and flourish among Thy people. Preserve the health of their bodies and vigor of their minds; shower down on them, and the millions they here represent, such temporal blessings as Thou seest expedient for them in this world, and crown them with everlasting glory in the world to come. All this we ask in the name and through the merits of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Our Savior. Amen.
– First Prayer in Congress September 7, 1774, Jacob Duche, Carpenters Hall, Philadelphia
———————————————————————————————–
“We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us, then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.”

Who was right? The Congressional Stenographer or the 87 Turncoat Republicans?

Who was right? The Congressional Stenographer or the 87 Turncoat Republicans?

Get Informed, Stay Informed and Pass It On – Remember, It Only Takes  a Spark To Get a Fire Going!

I was horrified last night as the Congressional stenographer was hauled out of the chambers during the “shut down” vote screaming, “ God will not be mocked. He will not be mocked. The greatest deception here is this is not one nation under God!”  I was horrified because her outrage was well founded and her impassioned speech made me feel both empathetic and disturbed. Dianne Reidy obviously had her fill of working for representatives who do not reflect the soul of America and her parting words were chilling, the devil is here!

The spirit of Pythos is hanging heavily in the air over our nation’s capitol and is suffocating our politicians, one by one, with its powerful stranglehold. The evil spirit of Pythos cleverly mimics the mighty Python snake, a non-venomous snake that kills by by squeezing and removing the breath from its prey, literally squeezing its victims to death. The python has bad eyesight and limited hearing, so it flicks its forked tongue in and out to collect airborne chemicals and dust, and dust speaks of flesh. The more dust, the easier it is for the Pythos spirit to detect its victims. This devil spirit, also known as the familiar spirit, first gets to know you and then begins to swallow you, beginning with your head.

One of the ways a familiar spirit attaches itself to a nation is when evil is legitimized and pronounced good. Once a politician convinces himself or herself that sin is justified for whatever reason, the Pythos spirit coyly attaches itself to that official and becomes his or her friend. The ripe smell of rotted, sinful, political flesh inside the Capitol building these days provides the perfect environment for this devil spirit to flourish. Slowly, daily, many politicians, with few exceptions, are being squeezed until every last honorable breath is extinguished from their bodies. The affected politicians, are then left to legislate without consciences or souls and we, the public, are burdened with leaders who are more sinful than they are incompetent.

We do not need to worry too much about our Pythos-spirited Congress and Senate, however, because it is mostly ineffective now and no longer running the bureaucratic dark comedy show. Instead a covert Pythos shadow government is in full operation and  the true leader of our unsuspecting, goodhearted country. Unelected Czars, appointed by Barry Soetoro, are heading up dozens of departments that are being utilized to push his Marxist agenda. Their high-level, untouchable status permits the Czars to spew falsehoods and have a platform on which to promote their progressive propaganda. The time-honored principles of God, family and country are quickly being replaced by these agnostics who deny there is even a God and who are busily creating programs meant to break down our culture, economy and sovereignty.

As the government’s role in our lives has shifted, it has left us with overbearing, narcissist leaders who are much more interested in self-aggrandizement than in our welfare. Our patronizing government enjoys playing the role of a father ready to take care of our every need, including telling us what food we should eat, yet are the same pompous leaders whom we would never trust to babysit our children. Dietrich Bonhoeffer wisely stated “the ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to it’s children,” Tea Partiers understand that wise quote and will not cower to the conquer and divide tactics now being used by Barry Soetoro. The Tea Party will not sit back and watch as an impostor despot drags our children down the slippery slope of communism. For the Tea Party to become passive would be to give in to the Barry Soetoro folly of Saul Alinsky ploys. Saul Alinsky gave full honor to the devil in the dedication of his book, Rules For Radicals.” “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgement to the very radical from all our legends, mythology, and history( and who knows where mythology leaves off and history begins-or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he a least won his own kingdon-Lucifer.” Is Barry Soetoro vying for his own kingdom as well?

There were 87 Republican traitors on the floor of the House last night. We know who they are and will add them to our long list of party defector’s. It was a temporary set-back for all who cherish America and pray for its health, long life and promising future for our children.

Fortunately, the Tea Party is able to visualize and forecast the bigger American picture. They as voyeurs are able to see a healed America where liberty and freedom once again reigns. Virtue does matter and perseverance has great power. God and the devil are very real and that struggle is currently being played out on the national stage. As Jesus himself saw first hand when tempted in the desert, evil can try to manipulate in the name of pursing good ends. It is time for all American souls to choose their sides and create their futures, our children are depending on it.

‘UNBIBLICAL’: JIM WALLIS LAMBASTES ‘POLITICAL EXTREMISTS’ RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GOV’T SHUTDOWN — AND WARNS OF GOD’S JUDGEMENT
Progressive faith leader Jim Wallis, founder of Sojourners, is joining a chorus of Americans who are frustrated over the government shutdown. In a video monologue this week, he unleashed his views on the matter, calling the closure “unbiblical” and hitting back at the “political extremists” he believes are responsible for it.
How exactly is the “political extremists” (you know he means the Tea Party Republicans) responsible for the shutdown? Harry Reid and the Democrats are the ones blocking negotiations and refuse to give an inch. And wasn’t it Reid who stated he wouldn’t save a child with cancer? What does that tell you about how negotiations are going?
While most of the debate surrounding the shutdown is partisan in nature, Wallis argues that the conundrum is deeper than mere strife between the parties; in fact, he says it’s spiritual.
“There is a deeper problem here than politics. There’s a theological problem,” he proclaims in the clip. “As a Christian I want to say shutting down government is unbiblical. Yes, that’s what I’m saying — it’s unbiblical.”
Wallis goes on to instruct readers to explore what the Bible has to say on the matter and specifically cites the 13th chapter of the Book of Romans (the same book liberals and many scared pastors are told to twist in order to keep their 501c3 status), which discusses the importance of complying with government. This chapter reads, in part:
“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority?”
Of course, context is key and there are different interpretations of these verses. If the government is seen as overstepping boundaries, some would surely argue that Wallis’ interpretation isn’t quite air-tight (it isn’t). But in this case, he clearly sees it as applying perfectly to the current situation unfolding at the federal level.
“Government’s role is to protect us from evil, to promote the good. We call that the common good,” continued Wallis. (If the govt is the evil, how then can they protect us from it? Should it be assumed that Wallis has forgotten the statements by our Founding Fathers on this matter? “The scriptures make clear throughout Isaiah, Jeremiah, Amos, the Book of Kings, that rulers, kings and governments are responsible for how they treat the poorest and most vulnerable. They’re judged by that by God.”
Has Wallis forgotten we are all judged by God? This does not mean, however, that we should go along with and support something that which we know to be evil. Jesus Himself questioned authority where it was necessary. No man, including govt, comes before God. So then, Wallis, is the Father in Heaven your God or is the govt?
The Sojourners leader decried the “political extremists who want to shut down the government,” pointing out two reasons that he believes they are acting in a non-Biblical manner. First, he says that their opposition to the government is, on its face, problematic (so then you would find the very founding of America to be problematic?) — and second, he says that they are opposed to the poor.(How is it that they are opposed to the poor? You think legislation that is shutting down businesses, putting people out of work, and skyrocketing costs of insurance, amongst other things, is in support of the poor?)
“They get hostile to the poor, because they’re hostile to government,” Wallis said. ”So, those of you that want to shut down the government, I’d say read your Bibles.” ((Now where I might agree many people, conservatives included, have misinterpreated the Bible and even adopted new theology and twisting verses to support such; I have to say it is you, Wallis, that needs to read your Bible. Pray to Jesus to open your eyes and then read your Bible. You are pushing marxism and totalitarianism along with the destruction of the very faith you claim to hold. How? Simply by supporting those that are bringing it upon us.)…”

Samina's Forum for police support

The Policeman stood and faced his God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining as brightly as his brass.
“Step forward now, officer. How shall I deal with You?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To my Church have you been true?”
The officer squared his shoulders and said,
“No, Lord, I guess I ain’t.
Cause those of us who carry badges can’t always be a saint.
But I never took a penny that wasn’t mine to keep,

Though I worked a lot of overtime when the bills just got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help, though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me, I wept unmanly tears.
I know I don’t deserve a place among the people here.
They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you’ve a place for me here…

Samuel Adams

Faith of our Fathers

Samuel Adams, one of the Founding Fathers and called “the Father of the American Revolution,” stated:

“The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.  We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence.  It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.”
